After having nine children in as many years, you might think Rayna and Malcolm Warriner's brood is complete.

* v" s5 w/ K4 V$ R+ \But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill.

1 B1 Y* D( p6 ?! N0 TLess than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby.

% q& f0 l- Y( d& u"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 4 ]. L# a1 q) V! X0 s9 x$ e1 `& H

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." # ^! B3 _4 ~2 _, p: r

The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits.

In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months.

Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 5 R: H4 Z# }1 L- K1 O8 j: w& V& g

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood.

To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 0 h1 _8 Y; y: y+ K1 s* g  n

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. 8 P  M# T+ f$ X0 P# ?7 R+ x

They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. * z7 ^/ J: G2 X$ V% p

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 4 @- d& m0 Q. D! y" \6 D& `

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
