7月14日米兰体育报率先批露了意甲丑闻宣判的结果，尤文图斯、拉齐奥和佛罗伦萨队将被降入乙级并接受罚分的处理，而AC米兰则侥幸逃脱了降级处罚，仅仅被剥夺了2006－2007赛季冠军杯的参赛资格。对上述豪门的宣判预定于14日晚上.

在14日早上，意大利足协公诉人帕拉齐仍然坚持要求更重的处罚，根据他的建议，尤文图斯应该降入“比乙级更低的联赛”并且被罚6分，而AC米兰、拉齐奥和佛罗伦萨则要降入乙级联赛，不同的是AC米兰只减去3分，而佛罗伦萨和拉齐奥则要减去15分。但是由于四支球队为夺得德国世界杯的意大利队贡献了不少国脚，意大利足协专员现在已不同意做出这样的判决。

据米兰体育报的报道，AC米兰将成为了“末日审判”的幸运儿，不能不说该队主席贝鲁斯科尼利用MEDIASET转播合同施压起到了效果，尽管如此，他们在被剥夺冠军杯参赛资格的情况下，甲级联赛中也会被扣除相应的分数，虽然还不确定详情但是相信扣分将达到两位数。另外三支球队中，受处罚最严重的当数尤文图斯队，他们至少会被扣除20分的乙级联赛积分，想在2007－2008赛季重返意甲难度很大，而佛罗伦萨和拉齐奥在降入乙级后,也会被先扣除10分。

被处罚的四支球队，将有权在未来三天之内对处罚结果提出申诉，7月25日，意大利足协将会将处理意见提交给欧足联。如果没有意外，我们将看到国际米兰、罗马、切沃和巴勒莫出现在欧洲冠军联赛之中。米兰体育报的报道中还表示：意大利足协专员现在还没有对是否剥夺尤文图斯过去两个赛季的联赛冠军做出表态。
