In-house translator - Chinese (m/f)



Your responsibilities:

-Translate game-related text Chinese > raw English to be used as basis for our target languages
-Investigate game dynamics and understand genre and structure of the game to support the localization process into the other languages
-Be the game expert the other teams can contact during the localization process
-Report project process to managers or project leads
-Testing and quality control


Your qualifications:

-Chinese native with good level of English OR English native with good level of Chinese
-Familiarity with gaming terminology and a passion for video games
-University degree as MA / BA in Translation is a plus
-Familiarity with modern slang, colloquial and technical terms in Chinese and English
-Experience editing spreadsheets and text documents
-Experience with CAT tools like memoQ, DVX2 or Trados is a plus
