For the Electrics & Electronics division at our Wolfsburg site, followed by a posting to China, we are seeking an

Optical lighting engineer with a knowledge of Chinese (m/f)


YOUR TASKS

• Thorough initial training in all aspects of optical lighting engineering at our Wolfsburg branch followed by a posting to our team in Changchun (China)

• Photometric design of headlamps, rear and interior lights and ambient lighting

• Development of concepts based on photometric criteria

• Integrated development of optical systems

• Interface between Engineering, Electronics and Calculation departments

• Communication and collaboration with internal and customer contacts in an international working environment

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in physics or photonics or a comparable training qualification

• Initial practical experience in designing imaging and non-imaging optics and light simulation

• Knowledge of light sources, optical materials and coating technologies of optical and mechanical components

• Fluent business Chinese and English and a good command of German

• An independent, conscientious style of working as well as strong teamwork and communication skills
