无锡市惠山区位于长江三角洲腹地、江苏省南部，东临上海，西近南京，南靠太湖，北依长江，是当今中国经济最为发达、最富活力、最具发展潜力的地区之一。全区面积327平方公里，户籍人口39.5万人。
Huishan is a most important birthplace of ancientWu Culture, modern Chinese national industry and commerce and contemporarytownship enterprises. Early in the 1980s, Huishan has been honored with “Top100 overall strength cities and counties in China” consecutively for 3 yearsand known as “Kingdom of Township Enterprises” for it has taken initiative indeveloping township enterprises and consequently become famous for its strongeconomic strength.
惠山是古代吴文化的、近代民族工商业、当代乡镇企业的发源地。早在80年代，惠山就曾连续3年被誉为“全国中等城市综合实力100强”，近代中国乡镇企业的王国。改革开放以来，惠山在全国中等城市中率先发展乡镇企业，经济实力一直处于全国前列。
Huishan has already attracted many talents withoverseas educational and business backgrounds who came back to China forrunning their companies. And most of them have already realized their dream ofa booming business belonging to their own and thus simultaneously making greatcontribution to local economic blossom.
