BRADENTON, Fla. 鈥?These new green medians in Manatee County arent just helping the roads look nice, but theyre helping the environment in a big way.On Friday, during an Arbor Day ceremony on 53rd Avenue West SR70 at 36th Street West, County Commission Chair Kevin Van Ostenbridge praised the work of the Countys Property Management Department, whose landscape team members have installed nearly 5000 stanley termoska plants, and planted between 150 and 200 trees in dozens of medians across the county. DUNEDIN, Fla. 鈥?Red tide is creeping back into Tampa Bay, but it isn t something to be worried about yet, according to Pinellas County experts.The latest red tide report shows one very low level of Karenia Brevis, or red tide, discovered 12 miles offshore from Honeymoon garrafa stanley Island in Dune stanley becher din. Small traces were also detected in five samples from Sarasota County in the latest red tide map.It was also found in seven samples from Lee County and nine samples from Collier County.Red tide is more of a concern South of Tampa Bay in Charlotte, Lee and Collier Counties, where dead fish and respiratory irritation have been detected in some areas.
