你们虽然邪恶，尚且懂得送好东西给儿女，何况天父，不是更要把圣灵赐给恳求他的人吗？——路11：13

耶稣用父亲回应儿子的请求做例子，表明耶和华对那些向他祷告求助的人有什么感觉。（路11：11，12）耶和华好比一个关爱孩子的父亲，很乐意答应孩子的请求。（诗50：15）为了进一步说明耶和华乐意回应我们的祷告，耶稣用人间做父亲的做比喻，来说明天父对人的关爱。耶稣说，人间做父亲的虽然“邪恶”——因为遗传了罪——尚且会送好东西给儿女，何况我们慷慨的天父，不是更会把圣灵赐给那些崇拜他的人吗？（雅1：17）我们从这个比喻学到什么呢？我们可以肯定，我们求天父赐圣灵时，他非常乐意让我们得到所求的。（约一5：14）《守》06/12/15刊2篇11-13段

上帝是一个十分仁慈的神，他不但关心他在地上的子民，而且也乐意伸手帮助。除了我们日常所需，他还供应我们充足的灵粮这样我们才能够保持身心健康。有些人说他们的祷告上帝根本就不垂听，事实是这样的吗？上帝让我们一无所缺，但是并不代表我们有奢侈的生活，因为这个一来不实用，二来会因此受到世界精神的影响。他赐给我们的是对我们来说最适合的。

If you, although being wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more so will the Father in heaven give holy spirit to those asking him!—Luke 11:13.

Using the example of a father responding to his son, Jesus reveals how Jehovah feels about those who turn to him in prayer. (Luke 11:11, 12) Jehovah is like a caring human parent, who is eager to respond to a request from his child. (Ps. 50:15) Jesus further reveals Jehovah’s willing disposition toward us by reasoning from the lesser to the greater. He says that if a human father, though “being wicked” because of inherited sinfulness, gives a good gift to his son, how much more so can we expect that our heavenly Father, being benevolent, will give holy spirit to his family of worshippers! (Jas. 1:17) What is the lesson for us? We can be confident that when we ask our heavenly Father for holy spirit, he is more than willing to grant our request.—1 John 5:14. w06 12/15 2:11-13
