Sintering process of isostatic pressed TiH2/Ti powder for filtration application
Background:Porous Ti and Ti alloys materials are a new class of materials with ex-tremely low densities and unique combination of excellent mechanical, thermal, electrical and acoustic properties. They offer opportunities for a wide range of applications, filtration is one of the most important ones.
Task:Investigation the dehydrogenation reaction of TiH2 as a pore agent;
Process design for sintering steps;
Investigation the relationships between sintering temperature / isostatic pressure / TiH2 content and open porosity.
Duration: 6 months, start immediately
