My macbook has originally a dual-system (OS/Windowns Xp). For some reasons the OS cannot start anymore, so i used to only use windows. But now i got a problem,the windows starts with an error
"c:\windows\system32\config\system is either missing or broken

That's to say, i have no choice but only have to rely on the windowns repair!

I checked in the internet, i need to copy this "c:\windows\system\config\system" from some one else to my folder, then i could have a chance.

Since it's a mac, it's possible to do so to combine with another mac, so the file from your mac could be copied to mine.

Anyone can help me?

just change to PC,forget about Mac

don't think "system" from other Com could work, cos this file is quite individuel
it even changes itself  at the same Com from time to time.

anyway i will upload my "system" for you, it's from a Pc so I not sure
if it really works, take the risk yourself plz.

the file is under uploading, just be a little patient.

b.t.w: Is your chinese input broken also?

is it your file?

I supposed to copy one to my HDD, i cannot do anything about it, if it's just a file......but thank you so much!

Or do you have any suggestion? Must i reinstall the OS ?

i strongly recommend you send your Mac to service center, although it may takes you a little time to wait
the reasons below:
1. you paid for the Mac and also for aftersale service, and it's time to enjoy it
2. the safter and easier and OFFICAL way to solve your little problem than you take the responsibility of you own.
3. the guys of service center will be appreciate you for sending this job for them to killing time.

as far as i know there should be one service center in Essen, for details you can check it by apple site yourself.

b.t.w: maybe you can set up chinese input yourself
move the curse to right bottom of the screen, you can see a blue icon with EN or DE
right click on it, then settings->add-->then you can try to look for chin. Input, but not every com has preinstalled it

I just came back fr. the service center in Bochum, they said the software problem is my own problem, if i ask them to fix it, they will charge me, and it's extremely  expensive

找到 可以打中 文 的 机器了 ,不过只能 一 个 字一 个 字的 打

winxp安装盘安装的时候有个修复选项，相当于重新安装系统文件，并且保留存在的文件和注册器列表，你可以试一试

找出apple 随机的光盘 restore Mac OS X, 要装win的话 去boot Camp 下面重新装过...
不要用win 安装盘修复什么的,只会带来更大麻烦...
macbook 对win的支持本来就是在boot camp下实现的...

开机的时候 按住 alt 不放... 然后应该能选 用mac os X 启动的....

我相信楼主是用bootcamp装的xp,当脆弱的xp崩溃的时候,不要慌,因为有mac系统做你坚强的后盾.1.维修篇:
首先,开机,按alt,选苹果系统.(根据lz描述我十分肯定lz把启动盘设为xp.)
然后,进入mac系统,如果你是正确安装xp系统,并且安装xp的这个分区使用fat32,那你就能在mac系统下访问并修改xp系统中的文件.
最后,找到系统提示需要的文件,放到改放的位置.完事.
2.重装篇
第1,2步同上,然后进入xp系统的那个分区,备份你需要的文件和资料.
进入bootcamp,删除xp分区.然后重新建立一个新的xp分区.通常情况下,系统会提示,需要修理磁盘.
使用随机附送mac安装盘,使用光盘启动,方法如下:重启时按alt,选择光盘启动.
启动后不要选择安装,在屏幕左上角可以看到使用工具,点之,选择磁盘工具,点维修磁盘.
维修完毕,重启进入Mac系统,点bootcamp,分出xp分区,然后在提示下安装xp系统.
结束安装以后,塞入随机mac安装光盘,xp自动帮你安装硬件驱动.完事

3.送修篇如果Lz住在bochum,那可以送到苹果专卖店graivs,出火车站左拐,延südring直走不到5分钟就到.gravis为苹果用户提供售后服务.前提是Lz的电脑在质保期.
但本人不建议送.首先是效率地下.其次Lz是软件问题,还是xp的问题.我不敢保证对方提供维修.
基于以上原因,本人推荐寻找苹果老鸟的帮助.对,那个人是我,这个时候应该会有掌声...为什么找我是有几个好处,首先不收费,其次业务很熟,最后在维修至于还能提供各种使用咨询.

史上最强终极boss! 首先Mac系统崩溃,我没遇见过,其次无法安装盘启动,我也没遇见过.小弟修行不够.

第1种方法:
开机时按住shift,看是否能进入苹果安全模式
如果不行,采用第2种方法:启动按住 苹果+S 键, 进入像DOS一样的字符界面, 输入
/sbin/fsck   -fy
(OSX的文件系统自检和修复, 等一阵)

回车, 输入
reboot
运气好的话, 可以解决.

崩系统这种情况我同学遇到过,就是送去,人家二话不说就重装了,还是国内带过来的本,不过机子好象是发到荷南去修的.这边的service只管接活儿

To Justin_Lu, windows setup总是出现中途蓝屏中断的现象，装不上，os里又没有解压的软件，什么都用不了，下了一个exe的解压软件，却说不支持中文os，发现装中文系统太不方便了，

不是因为os系统是中文的关系,而是因为os系统无法运行exe文件.苹果的软件是要专门下针对苹果系统开发的软件.os系统自带解压缩的程序,但只能解压zip文件,rar则不行,所以我会装一个stufflt expander的软件.
windows安装出现蓝屏有可能是因为你的安装盘的问题.你什么时候有空我来帮你装吧.顺便帮你把os系统下装几个软件.

对哦，exe文件只是给windows的,晕了啊

我在一个网站上下到了stuffit expander, 终于方便多了。
另外我现在中文输入用的是QIM，非常好用，这有个网址，可以下载http://www.blogwind.com/littleboy/13624.shtml，就是中英文切换是caps lock键，老不习惯，别的和紫光什么很类似了。

windows暂时不装了先，打算习惯用mac，现在的感觉也是像一个朋友说的那样，mac很好，就是少了些娱乐而已.......要好好学习了
