But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. ! _5 p" M* q6 T/ j$ S
% c! o* v! k0 k6 T! g2 @2 W2 L2 h4 E0 MLess than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. # f+ ^+ N- ^- T9 x: p- v" {7 m% g * X- Y* `( r, S' I- A5 N* k"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. g: s; S6 a% E1 z+ m) {
3 W( N( D7 t* n6 ^' F"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." + N0 e7 Y9 U0 T: W) E/ K
" W4 `3 G. { ^; C) NThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. % r# U9 J% k3 E8 s

Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. 0 z' A: e6 U) O2 v. S2 U% G$ e

Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. + Y( g% [, p( ~3 J7 {" X) e

In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. ! {% t7 f" A9 b# H2 \, f) N6 T 6 X0 a: |- v% Y# N$ V, t0 fThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. ' I5 v( p& a2 ~ , R+ Q6 A4 U- b) ]8 A% j! h% s; HShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. D, C2 h) _# U6 c7 S) P8 f. M* e8 S2 c
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 0 k7 D( S, G7 v' Y. ^, V

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. / H; ^* J0 y! P* J

"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. & v4 p# w* ^, A) d% `. F4 R0 M+ b# N8 d4 o. T: T. c2 D% }
"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. ! r( C) r; x7 A2 d2 j! N8 g' A1 v5 l" Q+ Q: V2 }
"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." / _% V- _; P; l5 }

Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 7 m! p) J s3 b# m 9 R# l/ }5 N4 X7 `! UTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. * Y; l, N+ U$ v( Z( G
( z t4 F( W* |/ CThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. 6 r! _' c/ f4 N% z! g
. g& O% g7 x: }. T4 m
They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 4 l) _8 `& S6 J0 I9 k5 u) R7 T2 F# J
Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. u: v3 i' K# d' e. a: O. R6 a
- c9 X W# C9 |% F( I4 H"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." & x; q# p: f5 Z- E- ?' `' K ' h8 D0 l9 u1 ~; i0 ~" _ rHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
