After having nine children in as many years, you might think Rayna and Malcolm Warriner's brood is complete. , l+ T: o- B4 N& [- L1 u1 o , g6 |% f, o2 c& E+ f3 TBut, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. 8 S4 A" ^ p. _* V$ E6 B
/ X6 S8 G3 Y! `0 S' G
Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. : ]$ w; e+ D/ W- ]7 B1 f) ]- Y/ p% h) h! P
"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. , `% X) p) K% U/ O* p
( F) |6 m+ g6 P- l) O"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 2 P2 F2 Z+ k' B1 `8 K+ h; Z" G+ S0 e5 a2 h7 m2 A1 \: _+ H7 V
The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. . l4 Z9 E4 v, y: A% z

Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. 9 l' r! _. G5 ?5 q1 g4 F+ ^! E
2 { N J; ^, w* bAnother boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. & Q0 V- c* ~% |5 \9 t( ]8 Z; M
8 [& H( u8 |1 _1 \& bIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. & R- l" X( g7 o+ L6 E8 o6 e: Z! K) N- j, X- V
Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 9 s! S# m) f/ Z+ P; z( v9 Y ' }" R7 t# l3 a2 b5 H' \She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. . j2 @% {2 e5 T5 }/ S6 m# Y) n% M 3 E5 B$ q) J& N* L MMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. ' b8 H8 K& s9 t N* x! y. Z% N% D4 ^! H' Y
But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 3 D0 a6 x* H1 o7 n7 u
) C" R! @# E2 i"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. 7 \+ h, _! t; E6 H2 h4 S ) L x: x* |1 T# p4 i"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. . Z# e5 \. Y* d$ @2 l
2 W; q4 M, j% R. P. M4 z3 G"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." x; Q- p1 W# C. d& e' Y; n6 i3 B5 K6 g6 M: Z5 T0 P
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. % U" R8 |4 X. u8 Q8 f, ]0 Z" n" P. D! Y
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. v- x9 P l4 m

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. ! p, |8 M4 w% `3 z
" c$ e3 {) Q6 Z8 y. rThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. # v' ^5 I: V8 r9 n
/ J% `9 i }3 F9 a- J
Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. . k9 ~& y& X5 N0 f- K 4 K% `, n' }/ c) V/ n"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." 1 \9 g" Z( ~8 \; w+ \. g; e
, n5 ?) J% s, [; f5 x# iHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
