卡百利乐队（ The Cranberries），意译又称小红莓乐队，大家应该不会陌生，有人说王菲就模仿她这种唱法，当然我觉得卡百利这种独树一帜的风格，无人能够比拟。主唱Dolores O' Riordan的嗓音是一种真实的特别，略带鼻音，但不带一丝做作，有种超凡脱俗，凌驾于现实黑暗社会之感，歌词同样发人深省。有名的曲子 < Zombie>, 一首描写战争残酷的歌曲，当她唱出 的那种感觉，就像战争洗刷并重创了人们的心灵，表现出极度的愤怒和那种无力的挣扎。< Never Grow Old> 这首很符合 Dolores O' Riordan 的嗓音，略带清唱，表现出一种对世事的心底的期待，像孩童时的梦想，也像饱含沧桑的低吟，希望一切都不会老，永远年轻，但只是个梦。
我最喜欢的还是卡百利的< animal instinct >, 译为<本能>, 这首也是众多外文歌里我唯一能全部唱下来的，do you know you made me cry, do you know you made me die. 最喜欢的两句，还有那不停歇的，the animal, the animal, the animal instinct in me。不知道这首歌反映了我当时的心态，还是反映了整个社会的心态，总之爱上这首歌就无可救药的不能自拔了。

90年代，美国的失业危机重新抬头,朋克乐在音乐界再度爆炸，西雅图的Grunge音乐风暴引起了强烈的反响与轰动,Nirvana就是在这样的背景下诞生的。听过nirvana专辑的人很多，喜欢他们的人也很多，评论的语言当然是更多，再多评论乐队与个人都比不上认认真真去听首好歌来的实在，那么不多废话，听听我推荐的<come as you are>.
<come as you are>首发于专辑<Never Mind> ，后又在不插电演唱会上作为第二首歌。我认为这首不同于nirvana 或Kurt 的风格，吉他节奏较轻快明了，演唱也较平和，没有情绪上太多波动，但整首听起来却别有一番味道，当然是kurt那独特的声线，不得不让人引发更多的想象，但我喜欢的是他的简单，乐风和演唱的简单也是一种美。

1993年11月18日，Nirvana应邀为MTV 制作"Unplugged"演唱会，演出了一场经典的演唱会。〈纽约不插电〉专辑，大家耳熟能详，我个人认为是引领了不插电摇滚的先河，并不是第一个，而是最经典的一个。更由于专辑发片后不久，kurt的死亡，更让此专辑成为死前的遗作，也有人说，kurt是在死前用生命的声音演唱了这张专辑，最著名的一首〈where did you sleep last night>, 最后几句那撕心裂肺，让人震撼，也无疑透露出Kurt心中的挣扎与痛苦。
〈SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT〉“ 闻起来像是妖怪味 ” 这首也是nirvana的名曲，一首典型朋克或Grunge风格的曲子，网上评论为“把Kurt Cobain 内心的狂燥、愤怒、压抑、扭曲、病态、激烈的矛盾冲突完全显示了出来，” 不论怎样，听听再说。
Kurt cobain已成为众多乐迷心中的神话，也包括我。1992年，科班娶了另一支地下摇滚乐队--“洞穴”（HOLE）的主唱歌手考特尼•洛夫（Courtney Love）为妻，1994年4月，Kurt被发现尸首。

关于4 Non Blondes
4 Non Blondes成立于1989年，美国的San Francisco市 。主唱：Linda Perry

这张专辑是4NB的第一张专辑，也他们的最后一张专辑，每次听到这张专辑，就象一个正处在颠峰期的体育明星突然宣布退役一样，给人留下了他美的回忆，这张专辑是靠“What's Up”而走红的，而这首歌也比较完美地体现了Linda峰回路转的嗓音，但这类歌曲在这张专辑里是屡见不鲜，如"Train" "Calling all the people"等，而整个乐队的音乐风格也比较古怪（感觉上象是FUNK与R&B的综合），非常适合Linda那独特的嗓音，抑或振奋还是颓靡，饱含激情地迸发。如果摇滚是蕴涵激情的音乐，那Linda的嗓音就应该是能呼唤出激情的魔音宝盒。
